Pedal Tractor Pull:  See how far you can pull the sled!  This event is open to kids ages 4-12 and is divided into nine classes each for boys and girls.  The top three winners in each age division, boys/girls, will qualify to participate in the Nebraska State Fair pedal tractor pull.  The top three winners will also receive a shiny medal!

Geocaching: Meet under the tent at 2:30 p.m. to enjoy an afternoon of geocaching.  Attempt to find as many caches as possible using a handheld GPS unit at the York County fairgrounds.  Winners will receive cash prizes.  Sign up under the tent beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Baby Olympics: The ever popular baby Olympics are back again at the York County Fair under the tent.  Events consist of the “baby crawling” contest, where the fastest crawler will win a nice cash prize.  (open to non walkers only.)  Other events consist of the diaper changing contest and the parent-baby look a like contest.  The final contest is the decorate a diaper contest where contestants must decorate a diaper prior to the contest at home and then have their baby mode their “creation” on stage… be creative and  make those diapers as cute as your baby is!  Sign up begins at 5:30 p.m. under the tent.

Sweet corn eating contest:  Come join us for an exciting eating contest.  We will see who can inhale the most sweet corn in a given period of time. The contest is open to all ages.  So start practicing as we declare York county’s biggest eaters.  You may register under the tent half an hour before the beginning of the contest.

Figure 8 Races:  Fast hard hitting action!  Watch over 50 drivers race for prize money.  Races will be divided into stock and open classes. Tickets are available at the York County Fair office during the fair.

Karaoke: Come enjoy karaoke by Lonnie E and The Show Entertainment under the tent beginning at 8:00 p.m.  Admission is free and open to all ages.  The Knights of Columbus will operate the beer garden serving until 1:00 a.m.
